Meet the Truliance Industrial Services Team

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, EXECUTION

At Truliance Industrial Services, our strength is our people. Our team brings more than 100 years of combined experience in capital project execution, plant operations, and industrial leadership across precast, concrete pipe, construction materials, and heavy manufacturing. We are not vendors selling from a catalog or engineers working from a desk. We’ve built precast plants, modernized mixers and facilities, installed batch systems,
RCP automation, and stood up greenfield operations from the ground up.

This depth of experience allows us to deliver projects that balance engineering with on-the-ground reality. From greenfield plant development and capital project management to equipment modernization and operational improvement, our team helps producers move faster, spend smarter, and avoid the costly missteps that derail industrial projects.
Whether you’re expanding capacity, replacing aging infrastructure, or building a new facility from scratch, our team understands the work because we’ve done the work, and we bring the credibility earned from years on the plant floor.

Greg Hamann: Founder & President

Greg Hamann is the Founder and President of Truliance Industrial Services and its parent company, Truliance Consulting. He brings more than 25 years of hands-on leadership across precast concrete, manufacturing, and industrial construction. A former owner and CEO of a precast concrete company, Greg has spent his career on the plant floor, in the field, and at the table, building, buying, modernizing, and turning around the kinds of operations TIS now serves.

His experience spans nearly every phase of an industrial facility’s lifecycle: greenfield plant development, brownfield expansions, equipment modernization, batch plant installs, and full operational turnarounds. He has led capital projects from concept through commissioning, evaluated acquisitions and divestitures across the sector, and rebuilt teams and processes inside underperforming plants. That breadth, strategic on one end, deeply tactical on the other, shapes how TIS approaches every engagement.

Through Truliance Consulting, Greg advises executives and ownership teams on M&A, strategy, leadership, and transactions; through Truliance Industrial Services, he and his team get into the plants to execute the capital projects and operational improvements those strategies require. Greg founded both around a simple principle- the best outcomes come when engineering discipline meets operator instinct. He is the one
producers call when the project is complex, the timeline is tight, and the cost of getting it wrong is too high to risk.

Justin Johnson: Vice President

Justin Johnson brings more than two decades of hands-on leadership in the precast concrete and reinforced concrete pipe industries to his role as Vice President of Truliance Industrial Services. His career has been defined by managing, building, modernizing, and scaling the concrete manufacturing platforms that produce the backbone of America’s water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure, from reinforced concrete box culverts and pipe to structural and architectural precast.

Justin spent the bulk of his career inside two of the industry’s most prominent platforms, Forterra and Oldcastle Infrastructure, culminating in his role as Director of CapEx. In that capacity, he led the planning, design, and execution of capital projects across dozens of plants nationwide, greenfield builds, full modernizations, and targeted equipment upgrades.

His scope has covered virtually every element of a modern precast or pipe operation: site development and structural buildout, batch plant design
and installation, mixer modernization, forming and casting equipment, materials handling, and curing systems. Few people in the industry have stood up more new plants, or rebuilt more existing ones, end to end.

Beyond the technical work, Justin is widely respected across the precast and pipe community for his integrity, his depth of operational knowledge, and the relationships he has built with owners, operators, and OEM partners over the course of his career. At TIS, he draws on that network and firsthand experience to help producers plan smarter capital investments, execute projects on time and on budget, and modernize their
operations for the next generation of demand.

Jay Newton: Director of Projects

Jay Newton, Director of Projects at Truliance Industrial Services, brings over 35 years of diverse business experience, with the last two decades focused squarely on the concrete equipment industry and precast plant modernization. He has designed and retrofitted control systems for batch plants across North America and collaborated with European batch plant manufacturers to bring cutting-edge production systems to precast producers throughout the continent.

Jay’s hands-on industry experience runs deep. He previously owned a precast step manufacturing company, which he built into one of the top architectural producers in New England before selling it to a larger concrete producer. From there, he moved into bid consulting, taking on and successfully delivering some of the more challenging precast projects in the market. Most recently, before joining Truliance, Jay served as Solutions Specialist in the precast division at SIMEM America Inc., where he led complex batch plant design and implementation projects across the industry.

At TIS, Jay leads project delivery across the company’s plant optimization, expansion, and modernization work, from initial assessment through equipment selection, installation, and commissioning. His comprehensive approach addresses not just the equipment itself but the maintenance programs, training, and integration work that determine whether a capital investment actually delivers the throughput and efficiency
gains it promised on paper. He is the engineer-minded operator that hybrid producers want in the room when the project has to get built right the first time.

Ryan Mitchell: Director of Business Development

Ryan Mitchell, Director of Business Development for Truliance Industrial Services and Truliance Consulting, brings nearly 20 years of experience in business development, transportation, and logistics for industrial and manufacturing clients. He has led multi-million dollar P&L’s, designed distribution networks, and built carrier strategies that turn logistics from a cost center into a competitive advantage. That blend of commercial instinct and operational discipline shapes how he approaches every client engagement.

Ryan’s work begins with clarity. He maps how orders move through an organization, where handoffs break down, and which constraints create delays, excess cost, or missed revenue, then builds a practical plan that connects commercial strategy to operational capacity. The result is fewer bottlenecks, better workflow, and a finance profile that improves as volume increases. He has led programs that reduce dwell time and detention, increase on-time delivery, and improve margin through smarter mode mix
and carrier selection.

Across both Truliance companies, Ryan is the first point of contact for producers and industrial operators exploring how Truliance can help. On the TIS side, he scopes capital projects, plant modernizations, and equipment installations, and connects clients with the right project leadership. On the TC side, he aligns clients with strategic, operational, and transactional advisory work. Because he sits across both businesses,
Ryan helps producers see the full picture, strategy, execution, and everything that has to move in lockstep between them.
